 In 1992, enchanted by the landscape, space and wild life of Australia, Polish born
Malgorzata Malzacher left Poland and made her home in Canberra. A master's degree in architecture (Cracow Technical University, Poland) gave Malgorzata a comprehensive understanding of design, which enabled her to launch Malgorzata Design Studio.

 Initially designing and handcrafting her unique styled jewellery, she followed on with the
 development of many other lines of handcrafted artwork: mirrors, pictures, hand painted glass, belts and clocks.

Malgorzata draws on her Polish heritage along with her favourite design style- Art Nouveau.
The rock formations of Australian coastal areas have also provided inspiration for her designs.

 Over time Malgorzata has developed her distinctive style, which is easily recognized by Australian and international customers.

  1994 was the first year that her works were exhibited with The Australian Craft Show.

For the following 11 years she had continued holding annual displays at this event in Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
